Individual Activity: Adapt technical writing for different audiences.

Your task is to rewrite technical paragraphs to suit two different audiences:

• Audience A: The Potential Client (Non-technical manager/executive)
• Audience B: The New Team Member (Junior engineer/developer)

You will select one of three provided technical paragraphs and rewrite it twice, once for each audience.

Audience Descriptions

Audience A: The Potential Client

• Who they are: A manager or executive who is NOT a technical expert
• What they care about: Business benefits, ROI, efficiency, security, problem-solving
• Their question: "What's in it for us?"
• Your goal: PERSUADE them. Simplify concepts, remove jargon, focus on benefits.

Audience B: The New Team Member

• Who they are: A junior engineer/developer with a technical degree, new to this specific project
• What they care about: How it works, technical specs, their role, correct terminology
• Their question: "How do I work with this?"
