For your final project, you will conduct a digital ethnography of an online community, analyze your findings using theoretical frameworks from class, and present your work in a multimedia format. You will also submit a reflection paper discussing your research process and personal learning experience.

<aside> 🤔 What’s a digital or online community? For this class, an online community refers to any digital space where people regularly gather and interact around shared interests, practices, or goals. This could be a social media platform like Reddit or TikTok, a gaming community, a fan forum, a virtual world, or any other online space with a distinct culture and set of norms.

To ensure a focused study, choose a single, well-defined community with clear boundaries – for example, a specific subreddit, a particular Discord server, or a Facebook group with a defined membership. This will allow you to delve deeper into the community's dynamics and apply the theoretical concepts from our course more effectively.
