Congrats on making this far! Half way there.
You will conduct the retro using a digital whiteboard. Then, we’ll work to transfer the digital whiteboard into a more formal doc.

Part 1: Running the retro
We’re going to do a simple retrospective in class to help you prep for your next assignment
- Get into your groups
- You’re going to determine the following things using a digital whiteboard.
- Celebrate: What Worked Well
- Challenge: What Didn’t Work Well (What can we improve?)
- Learn: What did we learn (about the process)?
- Communicate: How did we communicate as a team?
- Change: What will you do next time (that you haven’t done before)?

- Here’s how to run the retro
- Write the topic headers at the top of a sticky note or document (one sticky note for Worked Well, one for Didn’t work well, and so on)
- 15 minutes: everyone brainstorm and write down one idea per sticky note. You should have lots of sticky notes.
- 20 minutes: walk through the sticky notes, combine similar ones, and take turns going through your notes. The notes should help you guide your discussion and come up with definitive lists.
Documenting the Retro
40 minutes: Combine your ideas into a roughly two page document based on the ideas from your sticky notes.
